On this page you have the complete catalogue of these signs with their image, official code and meaning, exactly as they may appear in the driving-licence theory exam.

Hazard warning signs are intended to inform road users of the proximity and nature of a hazard that is difficult to perceive in time, so that the appropriate rules of conduct are complied with in each case.
The distance between the sign and the beginning of the dangerous section may be indicated on a panel supplementing the model included in the Official Catalogue of Traffic Signs.
If a hazard warning sign carries a supplementary panel indicating a length, this shall be understood to refer to the section of road affected by the hazard, such as a succession of dangerous curves or a section of roadway in poor condition.
In the case of luminous signals, the symbols may be allowed to appear illuminated in white on a dark, non-luminous background.
The types of hazard warning signs, with their respective nomenclature and meaning, are as follows:

💡 In the exam you will be shown the image of the sign and must recognise its meaning: look at the shape and colour to work out which group it belongs to.
