In simple terms, this point of the DGT theory establishes that on steep slopes where the narrowness conditions described in Article 60 apply, the right of way must be given to the vehicle traveling uphill, unless it can more easily reach a designated turnout area. In cases of doubt regarding the slope inclination or the distance to the turnout, the rules set forth in Article 62 must apply.
