Violations of this provision which involve excessive occupancy of the vehicle, resulting in an increase of 50% of the number of authorised seats, excluding the driver's seat, with the exception of urban and interurban buses, shall be considered very serious, in accordance with the provisions of the consolidated text of the Law on traffic, circulation of motor vehicles and road safety, and the vehicle shall be immobilised by the law enforcement officers, who shall keep it immobilised for as long as the cause of the violation exists.
