Seat belt, helmet and restraint systems come with exceptions: learn both the general duty and the cases where it does not apply.
Despite the rules stated in sections 1 and 3, the following must always walk on the right-hand side:

- Groups of pedestrians led by a person or forming a procession.
- Individuals in wheelchairs.
These pedestrians must obey traffic signals directed at vehicle drivers, including police officers' orders and traffic lights at all times, and other signs as applicable.
